4.2 Mounting the safety unit / connection for membrane expansion
vessel
Remove the locking springs [11].
Lift the supply and return line and remove from
the mounting bracket [14].
Remove the rear insulating shell.
Mark the drilling points for the mounting bracket
[14] on the wall and drill two x ø10 mm holes.
Insert the wall plugs and secure the mounting
bracket [14] in place by using the screws and
washers.
Align the mounting bracket [14] horizontally.
Guide the rear insulating shell onto the mount-
ing bracket [14].
Insert the flow and return line into the mounting
bracket and secure in place with the locking
springs [11].
The solar safety unit on the return ball valve
is equipped with
- Solar safety valve [3],
- Connection for membrane expansion vessel
[5],
- Boiler filling and drain valve [4],
- Pressure gauge [6].
Attention!
Use a suitable pipe to collect any heat
transfer fluid from the relief valve in a col-
lecting vessel.
