The gravity brakes are integrated in the supply [1] and return ball valve [2]. They are opera-
ted by turning the ball valve handles.
Operating position
In order to prevent circulation under the force
of gravity, the valve discs should not be
opened.
The gravity brakes are in an operating posi-
tion when the handles are positioned
vertically.
Draining/filling
To fill and completly drain the solar system,
open the gravity brakes by turning the han-
dles clockwise.
The handles are positioned at an angle of
45°.
"Closed" position
Turn the handles clockwise through 90°.
The ball valves are closed.
The handles are positioned horizontally.
