Under
LOUDSP.TYPE
select the type of speakers in the zone. If the zone has one or two 4 ohm or 8 ohm loudspeakers
select
PASSIVE
. If the zone has amplified speakers select
ACTIVE.
Notice: it’s possible to leave ACTIVE with passive
loudspeakers, the only difference is that the maximum output power will be lower.

Enabling
RESTORE STATUS
the zone automatically return to the status it was at unit power off. The option can be
useful whether you want to ensure a continuity of music after lack of electricity

Setting
MAXIMUM VOLUME
it’s possible to limit the maximum listening volume in zone.

If you want to exclude the listening of some sources in a zone within those globally connected (see paragraph 'main
unit settings') you can turn off the check mark next to the names of sources. The same thing applies to the local input of
the zone, named “L LOCAL”
System startup
The startup of the system includes the step of “AFFILIATION” where each zone controller is assigned to the own zone
listening.

When all the controllers have been linked, select
END PROCEDURE
(or press the OK button twice), the unit will
automatically switch off and on
If you want to remotely control audio/video sources through STIF devices or intelligent Tutondo sources (e.g. S2R2UT), you
have to perform a synchronization between zone controllers and that devices.
This operation is required every time
display-zone controllorers devices (CZ830) or STIF (also changes made on IR codes inside STIF) are added to the
system
