From the Main Menu, select
"CONFIG", then "DROP".

Configure

T1 ports.

Configure the settings as required
by using the cursor keys to select
the field and the space bar to
toggle each selection.

If a T1 port LBO is not selected,
the T1 port will be disabled and
input alarms will not be reported for that tributary.

Connect appropriate test sets to the T1 and/or
OC-3 facility connections.

Verify

integrity of

the circuits.

Verify error-free transmission through each
OMX84 service module.

If errors occur, check the
configuration and retest.
