Congratulations! You have purchased one of the most sophisticated and reliable power inverters of the industry.
Incorporating the latest technologies, it will deliver years of trouble free operation for your truck, boat, RV or other “OFF Grid”
system.
In order to get the most out of your inverter, it must be installed and used properly. Please thoroughly read this
manual before installing and using your new inverter
.
1.
INSTALLATION & FUNCTIONNING
The M600 has been designed for special applications that are pre-wired. An electrical circuit capable of supporting 60A @
12 V is mandatory. You must make sure the circuit is properly fused.
This inverter must be permanently installed on a flat and even surface using its mounting flanges. *The hardware should be
strong enough to support the weight of the inverter. The inverter may be mounted on a vertical surface as long as the
cooling fan is pointing left, right or up (it must never point down). The M600 is equipped with 1 meter cables with terminal
lugs at each end. Make sure to respect the polarity of each cable.
To operate the inverter, use the ON/OFF switch located on the front panel. A green light will light up to indicate that the
inverter is now ready to deliver 120 volts power. If you intend to operate several loads from the inverter, we recommend to
switch them ON one by one up to the maximum capacity of the inverter. This will prevent the inverter from being overloaded
by the current inrush required to start all the devices simultaneously.
CAUTIONS!
1.
The installation of this product requires skills and carefulness. For your safety, we recommend to have this product
installed by a certified installer.
2.
Do not insert any object in the inverter; it may cause fire, electric shock or short circuit.
3.
To avoid fire hazards and/or overheating; do not install the inverter in a zero clearance compartment and do not cover
or obstruct any ventilation openings.
4.
This equipment contains components that may produce arcs or sparks. To reduce the risk of fire or explosion, do not
install in a compartment containing batteries or flammable materials, or in a location that requires ignition protected
equipment.
5.
Reversing the polarities when connecting the DC cables will permanently damage your inverter.
This is not covered by the warranty.
2.
MAINTENANCE
A power inverter only requires minimal maintenance to work properly:
1.
In order to prevent dust accumulation inside its circuitry, clean the outside of your inverter and its environment
periodically using a dry cloth.
2.
Your inverter must never be exposed to any liquids. If this occurs, have it inspected by a qualified technician before
use.
3.
DC connections must be verified periodically and tightened if necessary.
CAUTION!
Never use water of any type of liquid to clean this product. The electricity produced by this inverter can
create an electric arc in presence of humidity and cause serious injuries or even death.
