Alarm setting
To use the module Joker 2 DS 500 DS 500 with alarm DS500 CAN, it is necessary to set up this function, using
DS 500 programmer. Supplied remotes in the set are already programmed!
Connect alarm by using USB cable to the PC and run the DS 500 programmer. Before this act must be USB
driver installed in your PC. (Installation files and installation procedure are placed on the website of the
distributor).
Set up:
Back 3-pol connector for Module DO
– will set up 2 way communication with Module DS 500 JOKER.
It's possible to use roll up windows function (depends on the car model).

Anti-hijacking mode

it is possible to turn ON / OFF this mode. Alarm test its presence (indication LED flash in
2 sec. intervals) every time driver's door are open and when the ignition is switched ON. In case of his absence,
vehicle is blocked. Authorization can be made by pressing the service button for 1 second.
If within 45 seconds authorization signal from controller is not
recorded, the process of blocking start:
- Siren beeps 2x consecutive, LED flash shortly
every 2 seconds
- if over the next 45 seconds authorization signal
is not recorded, blocking will be activated,
vehicle lights will flash, siren will hoot, LED
flashes every 2 seconds.
- In the next 5 seconds, the vehicle will be
unblocked, it is possible to turn the engine ON
for 10 seconds (to move the vehicle off the
road).
- After 30 seconds the siren stops hooting, but
lights and LED will flash until the function get
authorized.
In case you want to leave the vehicle with the engine running
but actively anti-hijack function, it is necessary to do the
following steps:
- Sit in the vehicle, close all doors.
- Turn the engine ON.
- Within 10 seconds after the engine is turned
ON, open the door and press 2 x service
button, the LED will flash.
Exit the vehicle, close the door - anti-hijack feature is
temporarily disabled. It will activate when you open the car
door.
Immobilizer
– it is possible to activate or deactivate this
function. Choice of alarm after 30 seconds will trigger an
alarm 30 seconds after trying to start the vehicle.
In the absence of controller 25 second blocking is activated
after the ignition is switched off when the alarm is
deactivated. This makes it impossible to re-start the car.
While blocking, LED flash 2x for 2 seconds. Immobilizer
function does not allow blocking while driving.
