Function
Module DS 500 JOKER 2 is suitable for alarm DS 500 CAN, DS 500 CAN U.
It works as immobilizer for DS 500 controlled by independent personal transceiver JOKER. With the program it is
possible to set up immobilizer function or anti hijacking mode. In addition, the module allows for some vehicle
brands, unlocking and locking the doors.
JOKER functions
Indication of low battery in the JOKER transmitter
After immobilizer authorization (optional) or anti-hijacking mode (optional) LED will flash rapidly for 2 seconds.
Batteries should be replaced.
Temporarily turn off the JOKER transmitter
PT transmitter sends data every few seconds for immobilizer authorization or anti hijacking feature.
To extend battery life, you can temporarily disable the transmission (e.g. over the weekend, and so on.).
Turn OFF
Press and hold the button for 3 seconds until the red LED lights up and slowly get off.
Turn ON
Press the button until the blue LED lights up slowly.
To find out the status of the transmitter JOKER press the button.
Blue LED flashes when the transmitter is active. At the same time when you press the button it sends an
authorization code.
Installation
Module DS 500 JOKER 2 has to be plugged into additional sensor 2 connector, when using this module, it is not
possible to connect second sensor to alarm. The red LED indicates the signal reception of the JOKER transmitter
(about every 5 seconds).
Wires description:
Black, Blue, Red
– power and communication module with alarm - to the socket for the second
additional sensor
Black wire left
– (-250mA) unlock transistor output
Black wire right
– (-250mA) lock transistor output
White wires
– per12 V for example the power relay
