There are several ways to turn the transmitter (edge fi nder
and zero setter) on/ off.
Turn on:

After a time (without any event), the transmitter turns itself
off. These stanby times are:

the standby-time can be increased or shortend. If this
is necessary for you, please get in contact with our service
team.
With the above confi guration, the following battery life for
the edge fi nder can be achieved:
Turning the transmitter on/ off
- By touching, the electrical circuit clo-
ses and the transmitter turns on.
- Programming a subroutine to turn on
the transmitter. Here, the edge fi nder
should move on a free surface on the ma-
chine table or a tool should move on top
of the zero setter.
- Making a contact between the probing
surface and housing by using a cable or
by hand.
- Edge fi nder --> 90 seconds
- Zero setter --> 120 seconds
