• Observe all the applicable regulations

when sanding painted surfaces. Use special care when the

paint is lead based.

• Remove dust or any waste material to keep a safe work

environment. If possible, use a vacuum cleaner or dust

collection extractor.

• Every person in the work area shall wear

professional breathing masks to be protected against dust

and smoke generated when sanding.

• Do not use this machine to sand pieces containing

asbestos.

• After long periods running, the external metal parts and

accessories can get hot.

• Wear a brand

professional breathing mask and cartridges fit to work with

dust and vapors coming off paint. Regular masks do not

offer the type of protection needed.

• Children and pregnant women shall

not enter the work area.

• Remove the dust collector pouch

before sanding metal. Sparks can ignite the dust and

even the inner pouch.

• Do not use worn or broken sand paper.

• Do not touch the moving sand paper.

• Before you start sanding double check all foreign

objects like nails or screws have been removed from the

work piece.

• Hold the tool by the insulated

grasping surfaces. The sand paper could make contact

with its own power cable.

Contacting a power conducting cable energize the metal

parts of the tool and cause an electric shock to the

operator.
