Maintenance
• Keep the tool free of dust. Never use water or chemical
cleansers to clean the machine. Clean it with compressed
air after each use.
• Always keep the vents clean and free of obstructions to
guarantee the adequate cooling of the motor.
• Inspect regularly all the mounting screws and make sure
are correctly tightened. If any of the screws is loose, tight
immediately.
Disconnect the power cord from the outlet
before making any adjustment, service or maintenance to
the tool.
Tool service should only be performed at a
Authorized Service Center. Service
and maintenance by unqualified persons can be
dangerous and may result in personal injury and
invalidate the product warranty.
Cleaning And Care
Change of Grinding Stone
Service
With the passing of time the grinding stone will wear out
or could show fissures affecting the right sharpening.
Change it whenever necessary following these steps:
• Loosen the cover screws and remove it ( A ).
• Remove the stone assembly (

).
• Unscrew the nut ( C ) and remove the washer ( D ) to
release the stone (

).
• Set a new sharpening stone (not included) with the
flat side against the support (

) and set the washer (
D
)
back.
• Tighten the nut (
C
).
• Set the support ( F ) of the stone with precision on top
of the spring (
G
). The sharpener axis (
H
) shall match
with the support cavity, otherwise even you succeed to
assemble the cover, when turning ON the sharpener,
the plastic housing will be damaged.
• Screw the cover back in place.
