Operating Your Massage Chair 

Please read all the following instructions to ensure safe and effective operation 
of your MC-4500 massage chair.

Turning On and Operating Your Chair

1. 

Insert the A/C power cord into the chair through the DC jack found on the 

back of the MC-4500.

2.  Insert the power cord into an approved socket.
3. 

Turn the MC-4500 on using the power switch found next to the DC jack on the 

back of the chair, then power on the unit using the remote controller.

4.  To begin a massage session, use the remote controller to activate your 

desired settings. Learn more about these options in the  Remote Controller 
Usage Guide on page 28.

OPERATING YOUR MASSAGE CHAIR

Introduction

Thank you for purchasing a truMedic® MC-4500 Massage Chair. Please read 
this instruction manual carefully so you may learn how to properly use the 
chair before using it. Make sure to pay close attention to the important safety 
warnings, and keep this manual handy for future use.

Features and Function

•  Combined with 4D massage technology, this massage chair comes equipped 

with functions such as kneading, tapping, shiatsu, and knocking, imitating the 
feeling of human hands for an immersive relaxation experience.

•  Upholstered with Leather Touch, meaning that there is partial leather on the 

seat, backrest, armrests, and footrest.

•  Heat therapy on neck, shoulder, waist, and buttocks.

•  L-track rollers extend from the neck to beneath thighs for a full body massage 

experience.

•  Micro space forward sliding function enables users to place the massage 

chair close to the wall.

•  One-touch zero-gravity mode relieves all pressure on the spine to mimic the 

feeling of weighlessness.

•  Intuitive LCD remote controller enables you to customize your massage at the 

push of a button.

•  Combination of rollers, airbags, and heat in the footrest.

•  Fatigue relieving waist and hip airbags

•  Footrest extends 8.6 in to make the chair suitable for people of different 

heights
