UNIVERSAL CONNECTION VIA USB-A

Thanks to the USB-A output, you can use any dashcam power cable.

For automatic parking mode to work properly, however, we recommend connecting the dashcam
with the cable included in the TrueCam Hardwire Kit.
STABLE OUTPUT VOLTAGE

The TrueCam Hardwire Kit supplies a stable voltage of 5V.
›
It is compatible with both the 12V battery that common passenger cars have and vehicles with a
24V battery.
POWER-ON DELAY
›
Thanks to a 5-second delay, the TrueCam Hardwire Kit protects your dashcam from unnecessary
restarts that can occur when the engine starts or shuts off.
›
The TrueCam Hardwire Kit also provides a 3-second delay for switching between driving mode and
parking mode, which will help prevent accidental mode switching.
3. BASIC SETTINGS
PARKING ALARM
›
The TrueCam Hardwire Kit can send a signal to the dashcam when the ignition is turned off.
This means the dashcam will automatically switch to parking mode when the ignition is turned off
without the need to set manually. The parking signal can be set to NORMAL or REVERSE mode
with a small slide switch.
– In NORMAL mode, the TrueCam Hardwire Kit is compatible with all cameras that support
ParkShield
®
and most cameras that support automatic parking mode.
– REVERSE mode is designed for when your dashcam works in the exact opposite way (records in
driving mode with the ignition off and records in parking mode with the ignition on). In this case,
slide the PARKING MODE SWITCH to the second position.
CAR BATTERY PROTECTION

To protect the battery from discharging, the TrueCam Hardwire Kit switches off the dashcam if the
car battery voltage drops below the value you select.
›
There are 4 options to choose from, which can be easily set by moving the switch to the selected
position.
A. For car batteries with a voltage of 12V: 11.8V, 12.0V, 12.2V and 12.4V
B. For car batteries with a voltage of 24V: 23.6V, 24.0V, 24.4V and 24.8V
