Removing the battery

1. Detach the battery (

) from the device by pressing and

holding the unlocking button (

Checking the battery charging status

The battery comes with an integrated battery level indication.
The battery status is displayed as follows by the three LEDs of
the battery level indication (

LED colour

Meaning

Green – Orange – Red

maximum charge / power

Orange – Red

medium charge / power

Red

weak charge – Recharge the
battery.

Changing the shear attachment

Warning of electrical voltage

Before any work on the device, remove the mains plug
from the mains socket and the battery from the device!
Hold onto the mains plug while pulling the power cable
out of the mains socket.

Wear protective gloves

Wear appropriate protective gloves when inserting or
exchanging tools.

Note

If necessary, remove grass and leaf debris from the
mounting flange before changing the attachment.

Please proceed as follows to remove or to insert the shear
attachment (
