Warning
Only operate this Triumph motorcycle
at high speed in closed-course on-road
competition
or
on
closed-course
racetracks.
High-speed
operation
should only then be attempted by
riders who have been instructed in the
techniques necessary for high-speed
riding and are familiar with the
motorcycle's behavior in all conditions.
High-speed operation in any other
circumstances is dangerous and will
lead to loss of motorcycle control and
an accident.
Note:
•
Cruise control will not function if
there is a malfunction with the ABS
system and the ABS warning light
is illuminated.
•
If the ABS system is disabled (see
page 53), the ABS warning light will
be illuminated and cruise control
WILL function.
The cruise control buttons are located
on the right hand switch housing and
can
be
operated
with
minimum
movement by the rider.
Cruise control can be switched on or off
at any time but it can not be activated
until all the conditions described below
have been met.
Activating Cruise Control
Note:
•
The cruise control indicator light
will not illuminate until cruise
control has been activated by
pressing the SET/- adjust button.
To turn on the cruise control, press the
SET/- button. The cruise control symbol
is shown in the display screen. The
cruise control set speed is shown as ‘--’
indicating that a speed has not yet been
set.

To activate cruise control, the following
conditions have to be met:
• The motorcycle is traveling at a
speed between 32 to 160 km/h (20
to 100 mph)
• The motorcycle is in 3
rd
gear or
higher
• The SET/- adjust button is pressed.
Once these conditions have been met,
press the SET/- button to activate
cruise control.
