Numeric keypad
Any entries exceeding 12 digits will be ineffective.
For programming the zero-key layout, please refer to page 17.
Decimal point key
When this key is used more than once in one entry, only the first time will be effective.
Plus key
This key adds an amount to the accumulating register. To add the same amount several
times, enter that amount once and press the plus key as many times as necessary. If this
key is pressed immediately after a percentage calculation, it will add the result to the basic
value.
Minus key
This key has the same function as the plus key, but with negative sign (subtraction in the
accumulating register). If this key is pressed immediately after a percentage calculation, it
will subtract the result from the basic value (discount calculation).
Multiplication key
To multiply, enter the first number (multiplicand) and press the key, then enter the second
number (multiplier) and call the result with the result key Chain calculations are also
possible. In that case, call the result only after entry of the last factor.
Division key
Analogous to the multiplication key.
Percent key
With this key, you carry out a percentage calculation after having used the multiplication or
division key.
Delta percent key
This key automatically compares two amounts and calculates the difference as an absolute
value as well as a percentage.
S
ubtotal key
With this key, you call the subtotal after an addition or subtraction.
G
rand total key
With this key, you call the final result after an addition or subtraction. The accumulating
register will then be cleared. However, by using a calculating key immediately afterwards,
the result can be further processed.
