removing the safety filler cap. Should a hissing noise
be heard when the cap is turned, allow some extra
time for the remaining pressure to subside, before
fully removing the cap.
Use
- Before the safety filler cap is removed, ensure that
the appliance is cold and that the boiler is no longer
pressurised.
- Use the measuring cup and funnel to fill the boiler
with the required amount of clean tap water. Do not
overfill. Use no more than the 220ml, while observing
the maximum marking on the cup.
- Close the safety filler cap.
- Fit the required attachment or attachments.
- Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet. The
indicator light comes on.
- When the steam control button is depressed, hot
steam is forced through the attachment fitted.
- Guide the attachment slowly over the objects to be
cleaned.
- Always allow sufficient time for the appliance to cool
down before adding, changing or removing any
attachments.
- Once the water has been used up during cleaning
and steam is no longer emitted, remove the plug from
the wall socket, allow the unit to cool down and take
the steps described to release all remaining pressure.
- To prevent water from splashing or spilling over
while the boiler is being refilled, it should be poured in
slowly.
- After use, always remove the plug from the wall
socket and take the steps described to release all
remaining pressure.
- Any remaining water should be poured out.
- Close the safety filler cap.
General care and cleaning
Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is
disconnected from the power supply
and has cooled down completely.
To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean
the appliance with water and do not immerse it.
Do not use any descaling solutions or
cleaning agents.
- The housing and accessories may be cleaned with a
clean dry and cloth.
- Depending on the frequency of use, the boiler
should be rinsed with clean water at least once a
month to remove any lime deposits that may have
built up. Fill the boiler with the equivalent of no more
than two measuring cups of water, then shake the unit
gently and pour the water out again.
Guarantee
This product is guaranteed against defects in
materials and workmanship for a period of two years
from the date of purchase. Under this guarantee the
manufacturer undertakes to repair or replace any
parts found to be defective, providing the product is
returned to one of our authorised service centres.
This guarantee is only valid if the appliance has been
used in accordance with the instructions, and
provided that it has not been modified, repaired or
interfered with by any unauthorised person, or
damaged through misuse.
This guarantee naturally does not cover wear and
tear, not breakables such as glass and ceramic items,
bulbs etc. If the product fails to operate and needs to
be returned, pack it carefully, enclosing your name
and address and the reason for return. If within the
guarantee period, please also provide the guarantee
card and proof of purchase.
