If your AirClimber Xpress was stored or shipped to you in cold weather or if the bellows have been compressed for an extended period (such as during initial
shipping), It’s likely the bellows may not fully inflate until the bellows are warm and have been used for a few minutes.

To fully inflate cold or compressed bellows, please use the following technique.

• Allow the AirClimber Xpress to warm to room temperature. Normal room temperature is sufficient to warm the unit to operating temperature.

• Follow the instructions in “Steps 1 & 2” above to initially inflate the bellows. Then get on the AirClimber Xpress (if you are unfamiliar with how to

exercise on the AirClimber Xpress, first refer to the correct procedure for “Getting On and Off the AirClimber Xpress” on page 9) and step at a slow to

medium pace for about 3 to 5 minutes. This will warm up the bellows making them pliable.

• Next, step off the AirClimber Xpress and with your fingers or front of your exercise shoe gently press and hold down the resistance dial.

• Gently and slowly pull up on the rear of one or both pedals. Once you have pulled the pedals up an extra inch or two from it’s original position, release

the dial to lock air in the bellows. The bellows should now be fully extended, however, it’s possible that it may take a workout to make the bellows fully

flexible if the unit has been compressed for a long period of time.

If you detach a pedal from a bellow, simply slide the top of the bellow back into the tabs underneath the pedal. This will not affect your unit from working
properly in the future.

Pedal resistance is adjusted by turning the dial located on the base between the two pedals. When the dial is set to position #1 on the left, resistance is light and
stepping is fast and easy. Turning the dial to the right restricts air-flow between the bellows which increases pedal resistance.

Position #1 is a good starting position for beginners, since it provides the easiest intensity level. If you’re above 180 lbs., you may want to start stepping at #2.
