4.
Slide the M.2 connector on the SSD drive
into the M.2 receptacle on the drive tray.
Note:
The connector on the M.2 SSD is keyed so
the drive will only fit one way.
5.
Hold down the drive toward the drive
mounting hole. Using the included
screwdriver, drive the screw through the
mounting holes on your SSD drive and into
the drive mounting hole. Your M.2 drive is
now installed.
6.
Replace the 2 drive tray screws on the front
of the enclosure located on both sides of the
USB port.
7.
Connect the included USB 3.1 Gen2
Cable between the USB port on the
U457-1M2-SATAG2 and the USB port
on your computer.
8.
If your drive has not been formatted yet,
you will first need to format it using your
computer’s Disk Management Utility in order
to copy and access files.
9.
Your enclosure is now ready to use. The
blue LED light will blink to indicate reading,
writing and transferring of data.
