This SNMP/Web Management Accessory allows users to operate compatible Tripp Lite
UPS Systems and Inverter/Chargers as manageable devices on the network,
accessible via Web browser, Network Management Station or telnet.
1 - Preparation

Confirm Package Contents:
In addition to this manual, your package should
include the following:
• Configuration cable (73-1025)
• CD-ROM containing additional documentation and Management Information
Base (MIB) files for use with Network Management Systems (not otherwise
required)
• Standard RS-232 (DB9) serial cable
• 120V AC Adapter* or 230V AC Adapter**
• Euro (Universal) to Hybrid E/F CEE 7/7 plug adapter**
• 12V DC cable**
* Comes with SNMPWEBSOLO only.
** Comes with SNMPWEBSOLOHV only.

Install UPS or Inverter/Charger:
Install your UPS or Inverter/Charger and turn it
on before installing the Accessory.

Locate MAC Address:
The 12-digit MAC address (000667xxxxxx) is attached to
the underside of the Accessory.

Determine Network Installation Method:
If your network's DHCP server will
assign a dynamic IP address to the Accessory automatically, proceed to
2 - Dynamic IP Address Assignment
. If you will assign a static IP address to
the Accessory manually, proceed to
3 - Static IP Address Assignment
. If you
are uncertain which method to use, contact your network administrator for
assistance before continuing the installation process.
