PRECAUTIONS FOR USE 

1) Do not apply input voltage exceeding their  m a x i m u m 

rating and . never apply external voltage to the input 

terminals.

2) The  f o l l o w i n g conditions should be avoided: 

(a) Direct sunlight 
(b) High temperatures and humidity 
(c)  M e c h a n i c a l vibration 
(d) Proximity to electrical noise or transient generating 

machinery. 

3) Do not use more than  t h e required  b e a m intensity. 
4) Do not leave the  b e a m stationary for long periods. 
5) The  C S - 2 1 0 0 A makes use of internal battery  w h i c h , if 

d e p l e t e d , can cause the panel LED's  n o t  t o light upon tur-
ning  t h e unit ON. If this occurs, refer to the instruction 

manual for instructions on replacing the battery. 

6) To prevent electrical shocks, be sure to  c o n n e c t the  G N D 

terminal to an appropriate earth point. 

7) Cooling precautions. 

The  C S - 2 1 0 0 A is provided  w i t h a  c o n v e n i e n t carrying han-
dle  w h i c h doubles as a stand to adjust the  v i e w i n g angle. 

W h i l e any arbitrary angle  m a y be set, be sure that no ob-
jects are  a l l o w e d to rest on the  t o p of the unit or that the 
cooling vents are not blocked, since this  w i l l cause an  u n -
due  t e m p e r a t u r e rise in the  C S - 2 1 0 0 A . 

8) Since the  C S - 2 1 0 0 A makes use of high voltage circuitry, if 

removing the case, refer  t o the  " M A I N T E N A N C E " for 
r e m o v i n g the case.

line  p o w e r source.
