ENGAGE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM  
 

1.

 

ELECTRIC MOTOR-DRIVEN HYDRAULIC SYSTEM  

i.

 

Make sure the electric motor is in the ‘off’ position. 

 

ii.

 

Rotate the needle valve

 

(Figure 9, Page 13) so the lever is toward 

the front of the truck bed. 

 

iii.

 

Plug the electric motor into an approved receptacle which is 
appropriately sized and has the necessary safety mechanisms to 
properly operate the motor. 

 

iv.

 

Switch the electric motor on. 

 

Moving conveyor parts can crush and cut and 
cause serious bodily injury or death. Keep away 
from all moving parts while they are in motion.
