Return Sweep Analyzer

Firmware Update

Select the

Firmware Update

link, then perform the following steps to apply a firmware update

to the 8310 RSA:

1. Select the

Firmware

Type

that you would like

to upload by selecting

from one of the following

options:

• UP Application

– This is firmware

designed for the microprocessor controller and has the following file name

structure “rsmaXXXX.mot”.

• DSP Application

– This is firmware designed for the Digital Signal Processor

controller and has the following file name structure “rsdaXXXX.mot”.

2. Select the

Browse

button to

bring up a window to chose the

file to upload. Select the folder

location and name, and then

select the

Open

button.
