The spectrum mode of the signal has already been dealt with in chapter 4.10. Please look there for more
detailed information. The antenna supply voltage can be adjusted with the F4 function key.
Attention, supplying an antenna with a voltage while no preamplifier is inserted between the UPM 1400 meter and
the antenna can irreparably damage the antenna and the meter!

The following parameters can be set here:
TP – choice of the desired transponder
Frequency - determines the desired channel via the entry of its frequency
Symbol rate : displays the symbol rate of the channel (is determined automatically)
QAM - displays the modulation type of the channel (is determined automatically)
Channel Search - launches an automatic, network, blind or manual search.
Explanation of the signal parameters:
POW - signal level in dBµV (can also be set to dBm in the settings menu)
MER – signal quality based on measurement of modulation error rates
BER - signal quality based on measurement of bit error rate (CBER before error correction)
Signal - Indicates the type of signal received
Function Key Options
:
F1 - deletes the selected channel
F2 - add channels (add transponder submenu)
F3 - starts manual channel search on the selected channel
