For its use, no external USB device has to be connected. 
Press the INFO button. It will show current program content infor-
mation. Press the INFO button again while the display of program 
information, you will receive current parameters, including the signal 
strength and signal quality. The beeper sounds if in the System Set-
tings menu 

– Other -  sound signal is activated
