ADDITIONAL SETTINGS
LOUDNESS
- Press the selection key (4) five times to activate / deactivate the LOUD function (bass boost).
DEFAULT EQUALIZER
- Press the EQ key (3) or the selection key (4) six times to select the preferred preset equalization. It is possible to choose
between CLAS, ROCK, POP, FLAT, JAZZ, OFF (no equalization).
Note: selecting a preset equalization is not possible to adjust the high / low tones.
STEREO / MONO
(AVAILABLE IN RADIO MODE BY PRESSING THE SELECTION BUTTON (4) 7 TIMES)
STEREO: set to listen to the radio in stereo.
MONO: set to listen to the radio in mono.
DX / LOCAL
(AVAILABLE IN RADIO MODE BY PRESSING THE SELECTION KEY (4) 8 TIMES)
DX: during the automatic search for radio stations, all stations, including those that are disturbed, will be received. This
option is factory set.
LOCAL: only the stations with the strongest signal will be received during the automatic search for radio stations.
RADIO
AUTOMATIC TUNING
1. Press the BAND button (1) to select the frequency band (FM1 / FM2 / FM3) you want to listen to.
2. Press the >> I (10) button to automatically tune to the next station.
3. Press the I << button (9) to automatically tune to the previous station.
4. If the TA function is activated, only the stations that transmit the traffic bulletins will be tuned.
5. If the PTY function is activated, only stations broadcasting the specified program type will be tuned.
MANUAL TUNING
1. Press the BAND button (1) to select the frequency band (FM1 / FM2 / FM3) you want to listen to.
2. Keep the >> I (10) or I << (9) keys pressed for a long time until the display shows the word MANUAL, press the >> I
(10) or I << (9) key to advance or go back to the 0.05MHz tuning in FM. Wait a few seconds to return to automatic
tuning (AUTO appears on the display).
STORAGE
1. Tune in to the desired station as described above.
2. Press and hold a memory key from 1 to 6 for a few seconds.
3. Repeat step 2 to store all other stations in all bands.
AUTOMATIC STORAGE OF THE STATIONS
This unit is equipped with a self-memorization system that searches and stores stations with the best signal.
1. Press and hold the BAND button (1). The unit will automatically search and store stations with the strongest signal.
RDS (RADIO DATA SYSTEM)
The RDS system provides for the transmission, by the European broadcasters that have adopted it, of a series of informa-
tion including:
The name of the issuer, any alternative frequencies on which it can be received, the beginning of a traffic report, the type
of program broadcast (classical music, jazz, rock, culture), etc.
This device is equipped with a series of options that can be activated or deactivated at will by the user through the fol-
lowing procedure:
1. Press and hold the selection button (4).
2. Press the selection key (4) repeatedly to select the available options.
3. Turn the volume control (4) to select the desired option.
