How to use the “iPhone® remote” function
If you have an iPhone®, iPod® Touch, iPhone® 3G, and 3GS, you can use it as a remote control via
WiFi. It is supported when the TrekStor
TV is turned on, however you won’t be able to turn on the
TrekStor TV by the iPhone® remote function.
1. You should use the same Network AP for your
iPhone ® and the TrekStor TV, so that you will
need a Wireless AP Router.” Check if web server
is “ON” or not in Application menu.
2.
Run Safari “Web Browser” on your iPhone ® and
then access to the web server by typing in the
allocated IP address of the TrekStor TV as the
URL.
3. Click [RC] button on the bottom of the screen to
have access to the remote control.
Note
If IP address is 192.168.123.5, type [192.168.123.5/rc]
in the iPhone®
address bar. “/rc” needs to be lower
case, otherwise you will not be able to use the remote
function.
