WARNING: Ensure power supply is off and disconnected before proceeding.
Please follow your facility’s lockout / tagout procedures.
1. Shut off the power to the TOUGH GUN Reamer.
2. Shut off the air supply to the TOUGH GUN Reamer.
3. Open the rear cover.
4. Unplug the wires directly from the bottom of the solenoid valve.
5. Loosen and remove the two (2) solenoid valve screws.
6. Remove the solenoid valve and gasket.
NOTE: New gasket (included with new valve) must be installed
when replacing valve.
7. Install the new gasket and valve and tighten screws to 6 in-lbs
8. Reconnect wires to the bottom of the solenoid valve.
9. Close the rear cover.
WARNING: Ensure power supply is off and disconnected before proceeding.
Please follow your facility’s lockout / tagout procedures.
1. Open rear cover.
2. Pull the Ethernet module off of the DIN rail and allow it to hang freely.
3. Remove the 2 x Air Blast bracket fasteners (M6x1x12) on the outside of
the Reamer.
4. Carefully remove the bracket assembly from the inside of the Reamer
and allow it to hang freely.
5. Remove all air lines from their respective quick connect fittings.
6. Unplug the wires from the valve.
7. Remove the valve fasteners (M3x0.5x8) for the respective valve.
8. Install the new valve and secure it to the bracket with the valve
fasteners.
9. Reconnect the wires for the valve and reconnect
the air lines to the respective quick connect fittings
(
see Section 7-1 Pneumatic Diagram).
10. Tighten the air blast bracket assembly back onto the Reamer.
11. Replace the Ethernet module back onto the DIN rail and close the rear
cover.
