Event Configuration
The selected events that occur will send out the alert to the assigned SMTP server. Also, user can
select port events for alerting.

System event selection:
4 selections – Device cold start, Power status, SNMP Authentication
Failure, and X-Ring topology changes. Mark the checkbox to select the event. When selected
events occur, the system will sent out the alerting
Device cold start:
When the device executes cold start action, the system will send out
the alert to the dedicate SMTP server
Power status:
When the device power status has changed, the system will send out the
alert to the dedicate SMTP server
SMNP Authentication Failure:
When the SNMP authentication fail, the system will
send out the alert to the dedicate SMTP server
X-Ring topology change:
When the X-Ring topology has changed, the system will
send out the alert to dedicate SMTP server

Port event selection:
Select the per port events. Per port has 3 selections – Link UP, Link
Down, and Link UP & Link Down. Disable means no event is selected
Link UP:
The system will send out an alert when port connection is up only
Link Down:
The system will send out an alert message when port connection is down
only
Link UP & Link Down:
The system will send out an alert message when port
connection is up and down
