CHAPTER 7: LEGAL FOR TRADE SEALING

7.1

SEALING METHOD

The SPS-70 scale only can be sealed for commercial (Legal for Trade) applications as
follows.

1. Turn the scale off.

2. On the back of the scale, locate the Calibration Slide Switch Cover Plate (see

illustration below).

3. Remove the cover plate to reveal the Calibration Slide Switch.

4. Turn the switch to the opposite position.

5. Replace the slide switch cover and thread a wire security seal through both drilled head

screws securing the calibration switch cover.
