Step on the brake pedal.

Place the cutting (mowing) assembly lever in the OFF position [Fig. 10, page 06].

Set the cutting (mowing) assembly height to position (5), [Fig. 11, page 06].

If the engine is already warm ignore items 10 and 12. If the engine is cold move the accelerator to
the choke position [Fig. 12, page 06].

Insert the ignition key. Turn clockwise to the starting position (1) and let it go when the engine
starts [Fig. 13, page 06].

Move the accelerator removing it from the choke position [Fig. 14, page 06].
Switching the engine off
1.
Disengage the cutting (mowing) assembly if it is on [Fig. 15, page 07].
2.
Move the accelerator to the minimum engine revolution position [Fig. 16, page 07].
3.
Switch off the headlights.
4.
Turn the ignition key counterclockwise to the STOP position [Fig. 17, page 07].
5.
Engage the parking brake.
Driving the equipment
Do not run the riding mower over rough terrain that can cause the equipment to tip above
15 degrees [Fig. 18], [Fig. 19, page 07].
To advance press the forward pedal (1). To go backwards press the reverse pedal (2). Pressing down
harder on the pedal will increase the speed [Fig. 20, page 07]. The brake pedal is used to reduce the
mower speed until its full stop [Fig. 21, page 07].
Selecting the cutting (mowing) height
To select the cutting (mowing) height move the lever to one of the 5 available positions [Fig. 22, page 08].
Starting and stopping the cutter assembly
Only start the cutter assembly on the area of grass to be cut and after inspection to remove
stones, stumps etc. Keep other people away from the site, particularly children.

Before starting the cutter assembly, move the height-selection lever to position (5) the highest,
[Fig. 23, page 08].
2.
With the engine running at full speed, move the cutter-assembly operation lever to the On position
[Fig. 24, page 08].
3.
Select desired cutting height and begin cutting the grass.
4.
To disconnect the cutter assembly, move the height-selection lever back to position (5) highest,
[Fig. 23, page 08] and return the cutter-assembly operation lever to the Off position [Fig. 25, page 08].
