This manual outlines all necessary instructions for the safe and the correct operation of the TOPAL clamps.
PRIORITY INSTRUCTIONS
In the interests of safety and for the efficiency of the equipment, you must make yourself familiar with these
instructions and adhere to them before any use of the equipment.
The clamp can be used only by skilled and authorised personnel
Never use this clamp to lift or transport persons.
Never exceed the working load limit WLL (see marking).
A minimum load of 5% of the WLL of the clamp must be respected for correct operation.
Never weld on the equipment or alter it.
Never use the clamp for any use other than what it is designed for.
In the interests of safety, never stand or walk under the load.
When setting down a load, the object must be stable before opening the clamp.
Regularly check the correct condition of the equipment (see “Compulsory Inspections and Checks” and
“Storage & Maintenance” paragraphs).
Lifting operations can only be done when the environment is free of obstacles
Only lift one load at the time
Only TRACTEL SOLUTIONS spare parts must be used.
DESCRIPTION AND USES OF THE EQUIPMENT
Clamp for vertically lifting various loads with parallel sides
Clamp fitted with either:

a semi-automatic system which allows the load to be set down without human intervention
▫
automatic system which allows the load to be picked up and set down without human
intervention
