6. DRIVER INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL
To connect gamepad to computer fi rstly connect transmitter to free USB port. Then system
will automatically identify it as “USB human Input device”. Go to control panel and open
“Game Controler” (or “Game options”), there you can see chart of connected gamepads
with their current states. There should be a position “USB Gamepad” and it’s state should
be “confi rm”. That means that gamepad was successfully connected to the computer. At-
tention: the LED light will fl ash on the joypad.
Install the driver
Before installing the CD drive , this joypad can’t carry out any operation.
Following steps will help you install drivers:
Before installing drivers, you should connect gamepad to computer fi rst and then put CD
into CD-ROM drive. Next open it content and open fi le “PS3 USB GAME – Installshield wi-
zard” (as picture 1). To continue click, “Next”. After installation to check if gamepad was
installed correctly in gamepad chart should be visible “DEFENDER Scorpion RS3 Gamepad”
Uninstall the driver
To uninstall, open „My Computer” - ”Control Panel” - ”Add or Remove Programs” and there
fi nd label named „DEFENDER Scorpion RS3 Gamepad”, then the right click on it and choose
„Change / Remove”; you will be prompted with window when you have to click “Next” to
uninstall, when uninstallation is complete click Finish (Figure II)
