OPERATIONS

SWITCHING ON AND OFF

1.  The power switch has three settings: 0 (off), I (standby/cool 

down), and II (on).

2.  To turn the tool on, set the switch from 0 to I or from 0 to II. It 

is normal that some smoke might be emitted after switching 

on.

3.  To turn the tool off, first set the switch from setting II to I 

which allows the tool to cool down. Make sure the tool has 

cooled down before switching to setting 0 to turn the tool off.

TEMPERATURE AND AIR FLOW SETTINGS

1.  Set the power switch to setting I and the tool enters the 

standby/cool down mode. In this mode, the temperature is 

fixed at 120 °F, but you may adjust the air flow by using the 

increase air flow button       and decrease air flow button      .

2.  Set the power switch to setting II and the tool is fully 

operational, you may:

•  Increase and decrease the operating temperature in 20 °F 

increments by using the increase temperature button       

   and decrease temperature button     . The heating/cooling 

indicator (1.2) will appear and continue flashing until the 

temperature setting is reached.  

•  Adjust the air flow by using the increase air flow button       
   and decrease air flow button      .

PRESET MODE SELECTION

1.  Four presets are available for your most requently used 

temperature and air flow settings.

2.  To select a preset, set the power switch to setting II, and cycle 

through the presets by using button       .

3.  To override and memorize a new preset, cycle to the desired 

preset using the preset selection button      .

 

Modify the temperature and/or air flow setting, and the preset 

input indicator (1.1) will appear and begin flashing indicating 

a change to the preset has been initiated. Press the memorize 

preset button     for about 2 seconds until the preset input 

indicator (1.1) disappears. The new setting is now memorized 

to the preset.
