4.2 Version with dowel pin and spring torque holder
The rotating of the measuring system by the arising torque is prevented by a dowel pin
on the machine side. For the mounting of the dowel pin the measuring system on the
flange side possesses a spring torque holder 6
– 0.1
, 6.8 mm deep.
This way of mounting shouldn't be used for precision applications. Radial deviations of
the shaft can cause an easy torsion of the measuring system and cause thus an
angular error.

The minimal dowel pin length of 3 mm is the result of the safety distance from the
spring torque holder to the machine (1 mm) and at least 2 mm, the dowel pin must rise
into the spring torque holder.
Position the measuring system so that a minimum distance of 1 mm is kept between
spring torque holder and machine
. Depth of dowel pin (into groove) ≤ 6 mm.
Protect measuring system against slipping on the shaft by tighten the two grub screws
with the hexagon key.
