15. Clock Function 

15.1  Setting the Clock 

1.  Select the Clock Set-up menu (

 

 

F4:Setup

 

 

F2:Clock).

 

2.  The display now shows the current date and time. The cursor starts at 

the day. For example…

month is correct.

hour is correct. 

7. Press   to move the cursor to the minutes. Press the

keys until the minutes are correct. 

8.  Check that the date and time are correct. 

Press 

 to save the settings. 

If any changes are needed, press the 

 key to move left to the 

desired position. 
Press 

 to quit without resetting the clock. 

Notes 

1. 

 The 

WP-87

 tests that a valid day of the month is entered. If an 

invalid date is entered (e.g. 31/11/98), the 

WP-87

 beeps and 

displays the message “

Invalid Date

”. The meter then returns to the 

clock setting screen, so that the correct date can be entered. 

2. 

 The 

WP-87

 also tests for leap years.
