Description

The

shutdown

command is used to disable an Ethernet port. To enable this port

again, please use

no shutdown

command.

Syntax

shutdown

no shutdown

Description

The

flow-control

command is used to enable the flow-control function for a port.

To disable the flow-control function for this corresponding port, please use

flow-control

command. With the flow-control function enabled, the Ingress

Rate and Egress Rate can be synchronized to avoid packet loss in the network.
