Open the door until it is horizontal.

Pull the glove box door toward the rear of
the vehicle to detach the two (2) hinges and
remove the glove box door. (Fig. 2-11)

Install the Interface Unit.
(a)
Slide the interface unit into the foam sleeve.
(b)
Connect the iPod cable to the interface unit.
(c)
Route the AVC-LAN cable behind the left
side of inner molded dash structure at the back
of the head unit. (Fig. 3-1)
(d)
Place the interface unit between the cross
member and the inner molded dash structure.
(Fig. 3-2)
(e)
Secure the interface unit with two (2) 14" lock
ties. (Fig. 3-2)
(1)
Lock ties must go over the cross member.
NOTE:
Cut off all excess on lock tie after
tightening.
