ENGINE ASSY REMOVAL

ENGINE VEHICLE (1 986.8 1989.8)

Engine hood removal

( 1 ) Disconnect the engine hood damper

from the frame bracket.

( 2 ) Disconnect the engine hood stay from

the frame bracket.

( 3 )

Remove engine hood hinge set screws

( 2 pcs. on each side), and remove the

engine hood.

Battery removal

Disconnect battery terminals.

Caution

Always disconnect the negative terminal

first.

Remove the battery cap.

( 3 ) Remove the battery.

(1 Remove set bolts

Electrical wiring and fuel hose disconnec-

Disconnect the starting motor bond
