CLOSING FROM OUTSIDE
To close the fully − opened sliding door, pull
the outside handle toward you and then
close the door.
Lock release

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING WITH
INSIDE LOCK KNOB
Move the lock knob.
To lock: Push the knob downward.
To unlock: Push the knob upward.
To open the sliding door, push the lock
release button and then open the door.
Vehicles with power door lock sys-
tem—The sliding doors will be locked si-
multaneously when either front door or the
back door is locked with the power door
lock switch or key. If you lock either front
door or the back door with the power door
lock switch or key while the sliding door
is open, the sliding door will be locked
after it is closed. (For instructions, see
”Front doors” or ”Back door” in this chap-
ter.)
Closing the sliding door with the lock knob
in the lock position will also lock the slid-
ing door. Be careful not to lock your keys
in the vehicle.

push the lock release button and then
close the door.
