Auto open/close
The toilet lid doesn't
open/close
automatically
Is the auto open/close set to "off?" (When set to
"off," the text "lid open/close" will not appear on
the remote control display.)
Is the "sensor" LED on the main unit display
turned on?
Are you standing somewhere other than directly
in front of the toilet?
Is the seat sensor or the person detection
sensor working properly?
Is there dust or debris on the seatsensor or the
person detection sensor?
Are there any interior features or decorations on
the door or wall directly in front of the toilet?
Is the "sensor" LED on the main unit display
turned off?
The toilet lid will not open automatically again, if
you are standing directly in front of the toilet.
The seat sensor and the person detection
sensor may have trouble functioning depending
upon the manner of sitting, stance, color of
clothing, fabric etc.
Is clothing covering the seat sensor or the
person detection sensor?
Is there debris or drops of water on the seat
sensor or the person detection sensor?
If the toilet lid runs into something the first time
that it opens after the power cord is plugged in, it
may stop opening (or close) before opening
completely. (It stores the position from the first
time it opens.)
Push the Auto on/off open/close
button on the remote control and set it
to "on." Pages 17, 18
