The product is made of plastic, so please do not wipe the surfaces with a dry cloth or toilet paper. Doing
so can cause scratches.
The Washlet is an electrical product. Please be very careful not to let water get inside it. Please wipe
detergent away completely so that no residue remains in the gaps between surfaces.
Please note!
The toilet seat and lid can be removed easily so that
they can be cleaned thoroughly.
The use of excessive force during cleaning can
cause the toilet seat or lid to come off.
If the toilet seat or lid comes off, please refer to
Page 27 to reattach them.
Please note!
When using harsh toilet bowl cleaners…
When using detergent or disinfectants for toilets inside the toilet, please leave the toilet seat and
toilet lid open and clean the Washlet surfaces quickly (within three minutes).
Additionally, please wipe away all trace of detergent from the toilet itself.
(Vaporized gas from detergents used on toilets can get inside the Washlet and cause
malfunctions.)
