3.2. General safety instructions
• Inspect before every use. Examine the support stands for cracks or damage before
each use. Do not use if even a minor crack, bend or other damage/deformation is
found. Discard the support stands if damaged or deformed.
• The person responsible for the use of the product must make sure that all of the
safety rules in force in the country of its use are applied, to guarantee that the
equipment is used in conformity with the use for which it is destined and to avoid
any dangerous situation for the user.
• Do not operate the product unless you are of age.
• TVH Parts Holding NV cannot anticipate each possible circumstance that may
result in danger. Therefore the warnings given in this publication and which appear
on the equipment are not exhaustive.
In the event that equipment, procedures, work methods or working techniques are
used that are not specifically advised by the TVH Parts Holding NV company, it is
necessary to make sure that there is no danger to the operator or other people.
• Study, understand and follow all instructions before operating this equipment.
• Do not exceed the rated capacity, be aware of dynamic loading.
• Use only on hard, level surfaces.
• Centre the load on the saddle.
• Use a matched pair only.
• Ensure that the support stands are in correct position in relation to the vehicle.
• This means that the support stands should be placed as far apart as possible to
maximise their load capacity.
• In the event of unsafe use, limbs or persons can get stuck between the vehicle and
the support stands
• No alterations shall be made to this product.
• Use wheel chocks or other blocking devices on opposing wheels before using the
support stands.
• Do not move the vehicle while on a the support stands.
• Bystanders who are not working on the vehicle must keep a minimum distance of
0.5 m from the vehicle.
