VIDEO PLUS+ TIMER RECORDINGS

Your unit is equipped with VIDEO Plus+. This “automatic” system greatly simplifies timer programming because you
do not have to enter the usual information such as date, channel, start and end times. By keying in the PlusCode for
the TV programme you wish to record (listed in most TV guides) all the relevant information is set for you.

To turn "ON" the unit, press the
ON button.
Press the TV/VCR button to
select TV/VCR mode.

Load a video cassette with
the erase prevention tab
intact.

VIDEO Plus+ and PlusCode are
registered trademarks of Gemstar
Development Corporation.
The VIDEO Plus+ system is
manufactured under license from
Gemstar Development Corporation.

Press the VIDEO Plus+/PROG. button.
The VIDEO Plus+ screen will appear on the TV screen.
Enter the PlusCode for the TV programme you wish

to record using the numbered buttons on the remote control.

Press the ENTER button. If an incorrect number is
entered the word ERROR will be displayed and you
will have to re-enter the correct number. The VIDEO
Plus+ screen on the TV will show the date, start and

end times for your recording.
The first time you use VIDEO Plus+ on each channel it is
necessary to press the       or       button to confirm the
correct channel. The unit will remember this for future
recordings. If you want to change the setting, press the    or
    button to select the item and press the       or       button to
change to the desired setting.
