4-1-1. The outline of the color uniformity compen-
sation circuit
1. The action of the compensation circuit
1) This circuit compensate the brightness uniformity
of the LCD panel.
2) Adjust the G and R panel brightness uniformity
based on the B panel (it isn’t corrected) brightness
uniformity.
3) Color uniformity compensation can be corrected
when R, G and B panel’s brightness uniformity
becomes the same level each other.
2. Adjustment item
• G Panel Amplitude: WMC (G-SHADE)
• R Panel Amplitude: WMD (R-SHADE)
• G Panel Phase: WME (G-PHASE)
• R Panel Phase: WMF (R-PHASE)
R and G panel brightness uniformity are fitted to the B panel brightness uniformity by this four adjustment.
3. Relations between the adjustment data and the wave shape
[Phase]
When a phase is changed, wave shape changes as the figure.
[Amplitude]
When an amplitude is changed, wave shape changes as the figure. (at Phase data: 30H)
