Learning about the remote control
The buttons used for operating the TV only are described here.
POWER
turns the TV on and off.
Press POWER to turn on the TV. Press POWER again to turn
off the TV (standby mode).
RECALL
displays TV settings on-screen (page 50)
SLEEP
sets the TV to turn off at a specific time (page 46)
TV/VIDEO
selects the video input source (page 44)
MUTE
reduces or turns off the sound (page 47)
Device Switch
switches between TV, CBL/SAT, VCR, and DVD
modes (pages 17–19). Set to “TV” to control the TV.
CH (channel)

cycles through programmed channels (page 25)
Channel Numbers
(0–9, 100) allow direct access to channels (page 25)
VOL (volume)
