1.7 CD-R/RW&DVD-ROM 

Drive 

The CD-R/RW&DVD-ROM drive accommodates either 12 cm (4.72-inch) or 8 cm (3.15-
inch) CDs, CD-R/RW and DVDs.  It is a high-performance drive that reads CD-ROM at 
maximum 24-speed, DVD-ROM at maximum 8-speed and writes CD-R at maximum 24-
speed, CD-RW at maximum 4-speed. 

The specifications are listed in Table 1-5.
