Hose Connecting
Be sure to fix the center of the hose
to the air conditioner cabinet with the fixture band
to install
a drain trap. (Water leakage may occur without this drain trap.)
REQUIREMENT
• Connect the elbow
, drain pipe
, and the socket
to the drain port of the air conditioner. Use
adhesive for vinyl chloride to connect pipes.
• Install the elbow
20 degrees downward by tightening the socket
to torque of 600 to 1000 kg.cmf
to install a drain trap to the hose.
• Connect the socket
to the Drain pump unit inlet pipe with the hose
, and tighten both ends of the
hose with the hose bands
. Insert the hose
into the joint by approx. 25 mm.
• Insulate the vinyl chloride joint and the hose at the Drain pump unit connection portion with the heat
insulation for pipe
and heat insulation for elbow
.
Ensure heat insulation by taping at the insulator joint areas.
• Secure the fixture plate
to the attachment plate
with the tapping screw
.
(Be sure to install this fixture plate
as this is for ensuring an angle of 20 degrees.)
Be careful not to damage the Drain pump kit hose during handling before extending it because it
passes under the unit.
