4.9 Removing/Replacing the Top Cover

Assembly

To remove the T2000SXe Top Cover Assembly:

1.

The battery pack, keyboard, and speaker bracket must be removed first.  Refer to Sections
4.2, 4.5, and 4.7 for instructions on how to remove these items before proceeding.

2.

Disconnect the LED cable (A) and LCD cable (B) from PJ9 (C) and PJ12 (D) on the system
board (Figure 4-16).

3.

Remove the three silver 2.5 x 6 mm screws (E) from the front of the top cover (Figure 4-
16).
