The Battery Pack

Removing the Battery Pack

To remove the battery pack, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-1 and 4-2.

Turn the computer’s power off.

Remove all cables connected to the computer and turn the computer over.

Push and hold the

battery cover lock,

to release the

battery cover

, while you

push the cover to the left until it stops (about one centimeter or half an inch).

Lift off the cover.

Press the battery latch out slightly so you can lift out the

battery pack

NOTE:

For environmental reasons, do not throw away a spent battery pack.

Please return spent battery packs to your Toshiba dealer.
