RTC battery

Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery provides power for the 
internal real-time clock and calendar

The RTC battery does not charge while the computer is turned off 
even when the AC adapter is charging the computer.

Hard disk

2.5-inch removable drive and controller provides non-
volatile storage for 30 GB, 40 GB, 60 GB, or 80 GB*.

*(1 Gigabyte (GB) means 1000 x 1000 x 1000 = 
1,000,000,000 bytes using powers of 10. The computer 
operating system, however, reports storage capacity using 
powers of 2 for the definition of 1 GB = 1024 x 1024 x
